Staring in engine vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground or change exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
12406 Possible Causes:
12406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections park/neutral switch input circuit
