Diagnosing engine bar with data bus powertrain, implausible message of the steering wheel electrics mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal or signal line for tiptronic: electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
12406 Possible Causes:
12406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 12406 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 6 (n371), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
