Staring in engine rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for pump - jet, cylinder 1 (n240), electrical malfunction and exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
12404 Possible Causes:
12404 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 12404 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
