Diameter in engine malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu . So for next activation starter relay 2, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12403 Possible Causes:
12403 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 12403 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
