Diameter in engine data bus powertrain, missing messages run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+ you can see the wheel speed signal 4, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
12400 Possible Causes:
12400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 12400 Code
- Inspect all the connections control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
