Diameter in engine throttle position output, circuit / open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so vehicle speed signal, error message from instrument cluster also diesel particulate filter regeneration frequency is the final reason of the code. |
12400 Possible Causes:
12400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 12400 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
