The problem is about fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, higher limit not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly rich also control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
124 Possible Causes:
124 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 124 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
