12399 Description And Summary :

Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical or reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit / open will delay your vw fault.

12399 Possible Causes:

12399 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

  • Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 12399 Code

  • Inspect all the connections air leak between throttle body and intake valves
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
