The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, missing message from steering angle sensor the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for torque support mount, open circuit . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
12399 Possible Causes:
12399 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 12399 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 2, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
