12397 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injector control pressure, too high and wait then signal line for tiptronic: electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
12397 Possible Causes:
12397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12397 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
