Diameter in engine exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit low and wait then vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12396 Possible Causes:
12396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 12396 Code
- Inspect all the connections load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
