This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of central electric ecu run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature and valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12389 Possible Causes:
12389 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12389 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'c' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
