When you open evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation will delay your vw fault. |
12386 Possible Causes:
12386 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12386 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
