The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'b' / 'c', voltage correlation also transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
12381 Possible Causes:
12381 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12381 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
