12378 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit you can see the throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
12378 Possible Causes:
12378 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12378 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump, short circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
