When you open exhaust gas recirculation flow, excessive detected retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit and wait then turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
12371 Possible Causes:
12371 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12371 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
