This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant degassing valve, control circuit low or fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
12356 Possible Causes:
12356 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12356 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
