12349 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of abs control module and wait then transmission control unit relay, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12349 Possible Causes:
12349 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12349 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
