When you open secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open and wait then tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12340 Possible Causes:
12340 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12340 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for torque support mount, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
