12337 Description And Summary : |

When you open starter interlock, circuit short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+ also 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
12337 Possible Causes:
12337 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 12337 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
