The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low you can see the control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
12309 Possible Causes:
12309 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12309 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
