12287 Description And Summary : |

When you open shift up/down wire, open / short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground you can see the injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
12287 Possible Causes:
12287 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12287 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
