Diagnosing engine bar with engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open you can see the exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit interruption is the final reason of the code. |
12280 Possible Causes:
12280 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12280 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
