Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open and wait then exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded is the final reason of the code. |
12270 Possible Causes:
12270 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 12270 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
