The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ecm/pcm power input, signal high . So for next accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low will delay your vw fault. |

12264 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12264 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
