The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low or change data bus powertrain, implausible message from combi instrument will delay your vw fault. |
12262 Possible Causes:
12262 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12262 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
