12256 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system system too rich at higher load, bank 2 or nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
12256 Possible Causes:
12256 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12256 Code
- Inspect all the connections potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
