The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 individual cylinder control, sensor dynamic too low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high and exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
12255 Possible Causes:
12255 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 12255 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
