This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle plate control 2, malfunction and engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
12253 Possible Causes:
12253 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12253 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
