The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, performance and ignition coil 'h' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
12251 Possible Causes:
12251 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12251 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
