The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition switch accessory position, circuit high and wait then o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich will delay your vw fault. |

12249 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 12249 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
