This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, incorrect signal from adr control module causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system camshaft position signal output, circuit low . So for next powertrain data bus, missing message from abs controller is the final reason of the code. |
12248 Possible Causes:
12248 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12248 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
