12246 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger control module 2, missing message retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses and wait then idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
12246 Possible Causes:
12246 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12246 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission request torque reduction, implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
