Staring in engine please check dtc memory of engine ecu to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to ground . So for next leak in air intake system is the final reason of the code. |
12245 Possible Causes:
12245 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12245 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
