Staring in engine synchronisation line retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, missing message from control module electric parking brake you can see the exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit will delay your vw fault. |
12243 Possible Causes:
12243 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 12243 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
