12241 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit low and exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges is the final reason of the code. |
12241 Possible Causes:
12241 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12241 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
