This something to do with the intake camshaft timing generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high and o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
12237 Possible Causes:
12237 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 12237 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, ice blockage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
