12234 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, higher limit not reached and fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
12234 Possible Causes:
12234 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 12234 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
