When you open hydraulic pressure sensor 2, range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), electrical malfunction and valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |

12234 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12234 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
