Diagnosing engine bar with evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3, probe 2 signal too slowly or change pressure control valve 4 (n218), short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
12227 Possible Causes:
12227 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 12227 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
