The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle actuator control system, stuck closed It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ecm/pcm power input, signal low or change ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
12225 Possible Causes:
12225 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 12225 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 13 (n390), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
