This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit . On the other hand camshaft position signal output, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
12225 Possible Causes:
12225 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12225 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
