Accumulated in electronic control units so engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor injection pump, fuel calibration not learned or change transmission control unit relay, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
12219 Possible Causes:
12219 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12219 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
