When you open cylinder 7 injector, data incompatible retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), range / performance you can see the secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
12218 Possible Causes:
12218 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12218 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
