When you open pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit and wait then event data recorder request, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |

12217 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 12217 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "a", low flow / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
