12214 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine exhaust pressure sensor, low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent or please check dtc memory of brake system ecu is the final reason of the code. |
12214 Possible Causes:
12214 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12214 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
