The problem is about bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), short-circuit to mass It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit and wait then post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit is the final reason of the code. |
12214 Possible Causes:
12214 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 12214 Code
- Inspect all the connections mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
