On the other hand engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
12206 Possible Causes:
12206 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12206 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
