The problem is about fuel pump, short circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent or change power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
12203 Possible Causes:
12203 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12203 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant fan control 1: open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
