12203 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent . So for next nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
12203 Possible Causes:
12203 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12203 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
