122 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit low or torque management request input signal a, low is the final reason of the code. |
122 Possible Causes:
122 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 122 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
