This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of clutch ecu causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high . So for next valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
12199 Possible Causes:
12199 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 12199 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
