The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction . So for next please check dtc memory of adr control module is the final reason of the code. |
12198 Possible Causes:
12198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12198 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
