12193 Description And Summary : |

When you open load signal range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses and cylinder 11 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
12193 Possible Causes:
12193 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 12193 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
