The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit . On the other hand actuator supply voltage "b", circuit /open is the final reason of the code. |
12191 Possible Causes:
12191 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 12191 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run/start position, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
