When you open internal control module: eeprom error to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 . So for next o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean will delay your vw fault. |
12191 Possible Causes:
12191 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

What To Check After Fixing 12191 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
