12188 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with transmission control unit relay, short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles power supply, malfunction also valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
12188 Possible Causes:
12188 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 12188 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of air condition ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
