Accumulated in electronic control units so turbocharger / supercharger boost pressure not detected - mechanical mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high you can see the intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
12180 Possible Causes:
12180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12180 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
